I came across this Post in Instagram and it is everything to me today. It will be in our wellness cart. It's called mental wellness.
Read below:
I lived in Orlando until I was 19. I moved out to LA at that time, where life is lived much differently. Over the years I watched my Facebook feed fill with engagement and baby photos from people I went to high school with. I couldn’t help but wonder, was I living life wrong? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Then I met more people. I heard more stories. I realized everyone has a different path. Whatever mine turns out to be isn’t wrong; neither are the choices of the people I know back in Orlando. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Comparison is the thief of joy and that goes both ways. Hating on someone else because their choices in life don’t align with yours is only robbing you of happiness in that moment. They’re not affected by your negative attitude, only you are. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So now I celebrate. The love. The babies. The diamond rings. The travel. The overcoming of negative patterns. The being secure with oneself. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Your path is your path. There’s no possible way to do it wrong
