This was the first year in FOREVER, that I got sick, and it was horrible. Here’s how it started: on my flight home from Florida (Jan 1st) I forgot to pack my supplements, my flight was freezing cold and I could hear people around me coughing. I literally remember thinking “crap- I’m for sure going to get sick”. Sure enough within 48 hours of coming back to Toronto I got sick. I had severe cold & flu symptoms for 5 days, and it was brutal. What helped me heal was tons of bone broth, vitamins + minerals, tea, rest, and I even did an IV drip. I definitely think my self care regime is what helped me heal quickly. During the winter months I would recommend being pro active with your health and make sure to support your immune system to prevent getting sick! Even though I’m feeling better I’m still taking my supplements + Immune Tea on the daily. This tea is full of lemon, echinacea + zinc which are key players during cold & flu season.
