There are ways you can enjoy this tea such as Oat Milk Latte with Honey & Cardamom recipe to provide you with a delicious herbal latte to treat yourself – in addition to caring for your baby by supporting your breast milk supply.* Our Postnatal Care Tea is formulated with herbs known as galactagogues such as fennel, anise, and fenugreek to support healthy lactation. The additions of honey and soul-grounding cardamom, add just the right amount of sweetness to bring you a sense of comfort.
It’s wonderful to make at any time of the day, preferably when your little one is resting so you can take a moment for yourself and savor the herbal goodness.
Servings: 1
4 Traditional Chibtox Organic Postnatal Care Tea
1 cup boiled water
1/2 cup oat milk
1 tsp honey
1/2 tsp cardamom – reserve a sprinkle for garnish
Place tea bags into a mug, adding in the boiling water. Cover with a lid or tea buddy, and steep for 10 minutes.
After steeping, remove tea bags and gently squeeze to extract the remaining tea.
Pour the oat milk into a small saucepan and gently simmer.
Add honey and cardamom to the tea concentrate. Whisk together.
Using either a blender or a milk frother, blend warmed milk and pour over the tea concentrate.
Sprinkle a small amount of cardamom over the top and enjoy!
Breastfeed your baby and see how well your bundle of joy and you become. Do this often throughout your breastfeeding period and say goodbye to the hospital.
We recommend covering your mug for full extraction of the herbs essential oil to stay in your cup instead of evaporating away. That is where the medicinal components are.
