Some people ask me all the time if wine is ok to drink when you're trying to lose fat off your body. WELL- depends on the wine.
There is sugar in wine and sugar turns to fat in the body. Sugar also spikes insulin. When insulin is circulating through the body you cannot burn fat. So think before you drink and stick to REDS! (watch out for "sweet reds" they have got about as much sugar as sweet whites).
