“A lot of people have low energy, and it can be caused by multiple things.
If you are overweight, you will be constantly tired and have low energy. This was due to the fact that you are severely overweight and have a poor diet. Once you change these things and start to exercise, eat healthy, drink healthy as well, things would be much better.
Here are some reasons why you may have low energy.
1) Poor overall diet - This is a huge one. When we provide our body with proper nutrients and food, our bodies will take note of that and act accordingly. If we are constantly eating processed foods with little to no nutrition, we will face the consequences of constantly being tired
2) Lack of sleep - This is very important. You can't replace sleep with caffeine. If you can, try to get to bed earlier. When you are well rested, you will have more energy and your hunger hormones will also be more balanced
3) Too much stress - If you can minimize stress, this will greatly benefit you. A big reason why you might have low energy is because you are stressed out. Most of the time, people stress over things they have no control over.
4) Coffee with sugar - Coffee is great. It is a 2 calorie cup of steamy goodness. It contains caffeine and is tasty. But, if you seem to be adding a lot of sugar to your coffee, that sugar might be giving you that infamous sugar crash. Try your coffee black and see if that helps!
5) Overweight - When you are overweight, you are putting more stress on your body with body fat and your body is working harder. When I was 285 lbs, I was constantly low energy and didn't want to do anything. This changed ever since I dropped the weight and started to hit the gym.
6) Sugary drinks - Sugary drinks like soda and drinks may taste great, but they are not doing great things to our bodies. Sugar crashes are not a joke, so if you can switch to water or tea, or perhaps sparkling water, this would help immensely!
