Doing it yourself is the best way to get the best and be
safe. Home made herbal soaps are good for very use. Here is how to make Rose Mary Mint soap using Melt and Pour Method at
home.
The peppermint scent is refreshing, while rosemary
offers antibacterial and anti-inflammatory benefits for skin.
3 cups glycerin soap base
¼ cup rosemary and peppermint infusion
1 ½ teaspoons peppermint essential oil
½ teaspoon rosemary essential oil
1 teaspoon crushed dried rosemary
¼ cup rosemary and peppermint infusion
1 ½ teaspoons peppermint essential oil
½ teaspoon rosemary essential oil
1 teaspoon crushed dried rosemary
rosemary & peppermint infusion: Combine 3 heaping
tablespoons of dried herbs (twice that, if using fresh) to one cup of boiling
water. Let steep for 15-20 minutes, then strain and reserve the liquid infusion.
In the top of a double boiler, heat the soap base or
glycerin soap scraps until liquefied. Stir in the herbal infusion, essential
oils and dried rosemary. Remove from heat and immediately pour into molds. Cool
for several hours until hardened.
