Although almost impossible to completely avoid exposure to illness-causing pathogens, much of our resistance to sickness is in our own hands.
Many times, infection and illness is not a result of exposure to the attack (pathogen), but due to a breakdown in the defense (immune system).
Various factors influence the strength of our immune system, and through good lifestyle and dietary habits we can allow it to work properly and improve it’s strength. While stressors like toxins, poor diet, lack of sleep, and emotional stress can lower the immune systems ability to fight infection, avoiding these stressors can improve it.
Below are the things to feed yourself with. There are many of them but here are a few we have tried:
1. Sip a cup of tea or black coffee (all herbal)
2. Get some Sun
3. Avoid Tobacco and alcohol
4. Improve sleep habits
5. Consume more fruits and vegetables
6. Improve the gut microbiome
7. Reduce stress
