Previous post covered oxidative stress and it’s causes, so here are some strategies that have been shown to help manage and reduce oxidative stress in order to slow the aging process and improve longevity!
These strategies each work in different ways to reduce free radical formation and/or increase antioxidant activity in the body. .
Intermittent fasting
Eat less vegetable oil and more coconut oil, Avocado Oil and Olive Oil
Caloric restrictions (eat less)
Avoid fried, Charred, browned foods. They contain ages.
Be on KETO diet
Take supplements such as Niagen, curcumin, fish oil, resveratrol
